"Patient, provides feedback, provides advice"
My son was afraid of swimming and being underwater. I wanted him to join a summer activity and swimming is one of those skills that everyone should learn. After his first lesson I was shocked how excited he was to practice his new skills. Coach Casey is patient, she provides feedback, and she also provides advice on what to practice on until their next lesson. Enrollment was easy. I also like how payment is based on per lesson and not a flat fee. At first, I was planning for this to be a summer activity but now I'm going to commit him to do this year-round. I love that it's not crowded nor does his class exceeds 3 students. It is usually just him with his coach but either way he gets the 1 on 1 learning.

"Couldn't be happier with my progress!"
I started taking lessons here to train for an Ironman. When I started, I couldn’t swim 1 length of the pool because I felt like finding out how to breathe while swimming was the world’s greatest mystery (as was getting my legs to stop sinking). That was in October/November of 2021, now in January of 2022, I’m completing 2000m+ workouts while swimming over 1000m at a time without even thinking of stopping. Working with Landon and Morgan has been wonderful. I couldn’t be happier with my progress! I would highly recommend them to anyone!

When I retired from a 25-year career of teaching and coaching Swimming 2016, I was looking for a pool I could use. I was unhappy with the club I belonged to and was directed to the new club, Superior Training. I found a swimming home. The pools were always clean as was the rest of the facility. I was able to have times for swimming. I found a staff that knew and loved swimming and was building a family that cared about their swimmers and all who participated at the pool. They were not only interested in the fastest or best swimmers though could help those people learn and develop their skills and become even better. The staff and coaches were interested in all swimmers. I’m not fast, (though one of the fastest in my age group) I‘m steady and was encouraged to be better.
During the pandemic, once they were allowed to open, they developed a system that kept everyone safe. Reservations and masks were required. Only one swimmer per lane was allowed. I was immediately back I the water. I am in the water almost every day. I am so happy to be a part of the Superior Training Family.

"ratio of instructor to child is excellent"
My children have had a great experience with swim lessons at Superior Training. We had tried a park district years ago with my first, but we quickly realized how poor the level of interaction was with the instructors and the lack of progress being made. We switched to Superior and have had a great experience since then (in fact, we just enrolled our third child). The ratio of instructor to child is excellent, allowing swimmers to become comfortable in the water and learn skills at a faster rate. I highly recommend Superior Training!

"Great environment for those of all ages"
Great environment for those of all ages. If you would like your younger ones to become better and stronger swimmers the program provides individual focus and results. For those that primarily swim for exercise this is a great option. For competitive swimmers a great option to work on specific areas of improvement. We have had great results!

"lessons were absolutely amazing...coaches are incredibly positive, supportive, knowledgeable..."
My daughter's first experience with WEST Swim Club was as a participant in the swim lesson program after a hiatus from swimming for a couple of years. The lessons were absolutely amazing, and she was successfully able to try out for and make the swim team following the direction she was given through the lessons. Since that time, both my daughter and I have been so impressed with everyone we have encountered at WEST Swim Club. The coaches are incredibly positive, supportive, knowledgeable, and they truly know their swimmers and swimmer's individual needs. The team members are an amazing group of talented young people who make their hard work and training look like a lot of fun. And the parent community has been beyond welcoming and informative. We are very grateful to be a part of WEST Swim Club!

"Swimming ... has changed my life."
Swimming Westmont Masters with Brian Keating as our Coach; has changed my life. 57 years of age; Football; basketball and track in High School; No swimming! Brian has taken us from one level to the next; continually pushing us to be better; but yet, making us confident that we can do the work; and that Pain is your friend. If you need more rest, swim faster!
Team and Friendships are the focus. We encourage each other to be better. Great Fun! Thank you, Brian!

"have developed some wonderful, lasting friendships..."
I have been a swim parent of Westmont Swim Club for several years and have watched countless hours of swimming. My wife and I have developed some wonderful, lasting friendships with other team parents. We always looked forward to the meets and our time with other parents. My son also has many lasting friendships from the team.
After my son went away to swim in college, I decided I would try swimming for exercise. I have no previous experience swimming other than for recreation. After about a year of participation in the master's program, I signed up for the Stroke Clinic. I quickly realized that everything I was doing was incorrect. Coaches Adam and Scott went through proper technique in a basic and methodical manner. I had one-on-one coaching, but even more eye opening was the underwater video. Seeing yourself in the video really demonstrates individual stroke problems. Feedback was easily understandable, and you can see how to correct it in the next video. We did different drills to accentuate various stroke aspects. I continue to participate in the master's program and have improved my stroke and speed thanks to this clinic. The booklet that was given is also a good reminder of proper technique.
Coach Adam really knows the most current techniques and more importantly how to correct strokes and motivate a swimmer. The Westmont Swim Club coaches have been a great influence on my son in his swimming and in his life.
