who are these classes for?
Everyone! Athletes of all levels, non-athletes, people recovering from injury, wanting to lose weight, reduce chronic pain and those looking for a fun way to stay heathy! Plus! You do NOT even need to know how to swim! What do I need to know?
We recommend arriving 15 minutes before class. All participants should check in at the main office with your name. First time participants will be directed to the location of the class, locker room and equipment. What do I bring?
Your swim suit, a towel and a water bottle. Additional belts and tethers are provided at a first come, first served basis. We recommend purchasing your own to guarantee you get one! Please remember, no street shoes on the pool deck! what to expect?
Class starts with a warm-up "run" to music and then gradually works to higher intensities. The intensity is guided by an instructor but determined by each individual. You get what you give! There will be a short break near the middle and guided stretching at the end. |
